Our all-inclusive hotel barge cruises offer comfortable accommodation aboard in air-conditioned, ensuite cabins, gourmet meals, fine wines, an open bar and all excursions.
All vessels are fully crewed with a Captain, gourmet chef, hostess and a tour guide who takes passengers on excursions to places of historical and cultural interest. Also on offer are tandem cruises for larger parties and a wide selection of themed cruises, such as wine appreciation and golf - and even honeymoon charters!
European Waterways was the first company to put a barge on the Upper Nivernais Canal in Burgundy, and in the “real” Loire Valley. We are also the only company with luxury hotel barges in Scotland and in the Venetian lagoon, as well as the first to offer an Avignon-to-Amsterdam 6 week trans-Europe cruise.
One of the barges, Anjodi, even achieved ‘film star’ status following her many appearances during the TV series ‘French Odyssey’, when she carried chef Rick Stein on a voyage of culinary discovery through Southern France.
