Competition opens for Cruise Photographer of the Year

White Star Cruises is calling for entries to its Photographer of the Year competition, which aims to find the best images from all over the world at sea and in port.

Each month a judge at White Star Cruises will select the Top 10 images and display them on its website. The public then selects its favourite and the winner will receive $200 on-board credit for any cruise booked through White Star Cruises. They will also be automatically selected for the Grand Final Photo Competition.

The overall winner will be selected by the public from the previous winning images at the end of January 2011 and will enjoy a five-night cruise on Cunard’s new ship, Queen Elizabeth. Departing Southampton on 30 April 2011, the prize cruise includes an inside cabin for two people, all meals, entertainment and if you’re not a photographer, don’t worry. Just by voting you also have the chance to win – a case of wine goes to a voter selected at random every month.
