Cruise International Awards judge and travel expert, Emma Sanger, talks to us about why cruises and pampering go hand in hand
Ah, wellbeing. Now this is something that I love to experience when I’m cruising. With our busy lifestyles and schedules our personal wellbeing can sometimes take a back seat. I personally never have to time to book in for a spa treatment or massage at home. The idea is always there but it just never comes to fruition.
A cruise is a time when we can take advantage of some much needed rest and pampering or even cosmetic treatments. Aromatherapy, thalasotherapy, facials, massages, hair, hands and foot treatments, everything is now available literally a few steps away from our cabin for our enjoyment.
There are not only physical treatments that are on offer these days but advise on health, fitness, and nutrition. Cruise lines have thought of everything to help us re-charge de stress and live a better, healthier lifestyle. Some, also now offer healthier menu options on-board as well as personal fitness, so all your personal wellbeing requirements are catered for.
