Crystal Cruises is expanding its 2014 Experiences of Discovery theme cruise programme with six new themes.
Spread throughout the year, the new themes focus on thrill-seeking, elegance, the Roman Empire, maritime history, magic and microbrews.
Highlights of the new 2014 themes include Extreme Thrill Seekers, with expert shark divers, underwater photographers, deep-sea treasure hunters and more (departing 20 March, Singapore to Cape Town).
The Gladiators & Empires theme celebrates the Roman Empire’s influence on art, religion, law, war, social structure, science and architecture (departing 18 May, Venice to Barcelona).
The Wine & Food: Microbrews themed cruise takes a look at the increasingly popular microbreweries, with experts, tastings and cuisine pairing (5 November, New York to Miami).
There are a selection of returning themes such as Mind, Body & Spirit, Film & Theatre, Ballroom at Sea and Jazz.
Philip Ordever, Crystal’s Vice President of International Sales & Marketing said:
“The topics may be varied, but all themes satisfy the same intellectual curiosity and refined aesthetics that distinguish our typical Crystal cruiser”.
