The Galapagos Explorer II is a luxury ship that offers only suites.  Their suites have an average of 250sqft/ 20m2 and are comfortable whilst keeping harmony with the surroundings. The line offer four categories of suites: Renaissance Balcony, Renaissance Panoramic, Deluxe Balcony, Premium, Classic each one maintaining a classic and elegant line.

Reception: The front desk officers welcome you and will always be available to assist you and solve any of your special needs to make your stay more enjoyable.

Library: Available the entire day, our library offers a large selection of books where natural history is enhanced, pocket books magazines, scientific reports and also books for kids.

Restaurant: Galapagos Explorer II offers breakfast and lunch buffet and for dinner they have a variety of dishes (with two options to choose from, and two vegetarian options as well): Dinner on board the Galapagos Explorer II is casual and there is no need for advanced reservations. Their chef offers Ecuadorian and international cuisine, special diets can be arrange prior advance information.

Main Lounge: During the cruise they offer daily briefings to inform about the next day visit also there are conferences regarding culture and natural history and science matters imparted by the naturalists’ guides.

Jacuzzi – Bar: To enjoy the charms of this archipelago they have two jacuzzi with a capacity of six people at the Erickson Deck.

Solarium: Galapagos is a place that should be treasured to the fullest, that is why all the exterior areas are enable for you to appreciate the panoramic view of the islands. They have reclining chairs and a station where you can treat yourself with tea, coffee, cookies and water. At night if the weather conditions allow it transform this place in the perfect spot to make star gazing (December to April).

Medical Assistance Center: The ship is equipped to assist passengers in case of an emergency or in case of a minor accident a board or the island. A certified doctor will be available twenty four hours a day.

Commanding Bridge: The Galapagos Explorer II is at vanguard of the marine technology. The visits to the commanding bridge (located at the Marco Polo Deck) are available.

Coffee Station – Cafeteria 24 hours: In the cafeteria you can have coffee and tea 24/7. The coffee service, including tea and snacks, is also available for passengers every time they arrive from the visits.

Naturalist Program: A program designed for the eco-tourist that is interested in the information regarding the different research projects developed by several organizations. On board the Galapagos Explorer II you will find a “Research Record” a book where the naturalists’ guides register unique events of the marine and land life of the islands.

Games Area: In the club area they have table games available for kids and adults.  Personnel are in charge of coordinating special activities  during the cruise.

Massage Room: They provide a massage service for your relaxation. Amongst the different treatments they offer are: Reflexology massage, Swedish massage, crystal massages, aromatherapy massages and REIKI with aromatherapy.
