Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer, said:
“We are excited to announce that our largest ship, Norwegian Epic, will homeport in Europe year-round in 2015.
“Norwegian Epic’s innovative accommodations, world-class entertainment and plethora of dining options are the perfect complement to the European cruise market, one of the most sought-after cruise destinations in the world.”
During 2015, Norwegian Epic will offer a variety of cruise holidays in Europe; itineraries are due to be announced mid-March 2014.
The cruise ship has 23 dining options, including the line’s signature steakhouse Cagney’s, Moderno Churrascaria – Norwegian’s Brazilian-style steakhouse – and Teppanyaki, a Japanese hibachi-style restaurant.
Staterooms on board Norwegian Epic range from family-friendly multi-room suites and inside stateroom options to the luxurious ship-within-a-ship The Haven by Norwegian complex featuring 60 suites and villas on two private decks on the top of the cruise ship.
