“Our Food Heroes cruises are always popular with guests and are one of the reasons P&O Cruises stands out from other holidays,” said P&O Cruises Vice President of Marketing, Christopher Edgington. “Each Food Hero brings their own expertise to the mix and ensures we offer an exciting array of dishes for all tastes.”
Guests sailing on Britannia’s Iberian coast cruise departing on 17 September 2016 will have the opportunity to see Britain’s favourite chef, James Martin, ‘Cake Boy’ Eric Lanlard and Cheese specialist Charlie Turnbull in one holiday.
Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar and wine expert Olly Smith will also sail on selected cruises next year.
Food Heroes holidays include cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, hosted dinners, book signings, Q&A sessions and hosted food or wine related shore excursions in specific ports of call.
Following the success of Eric Lanlard’s afternoon tea on Britannia, P&O Cruises is now extending this across its two other large family ships, Ventura and Azura.
Atul Kochhar’s fine dining Indian Sindhu restaurant – launched on Britannia, Aurora and Ventura earlier this year and a firm favourite on Azura – is also now on two additional ships, Arcadia and Oriana.
New 2016 Food Heroes cruises include:
➢ James Martin will be cruising the Canary Islands on 5 June 2016 and the Iberian coast on 17 September 2016
➢ Atul Kochhar will be adding an Iberian coast cruise on 21 October 2016 to his Food Hero cruises
➢ Eric Lanlard will be cruising Iberia on 17 September 2016
➢ Wine expert Olly Smith will also be sailing the Canary Islands departing 5 June 2016
➢ Charlie Turnbull will be on board Britannia for Mediterranean cruises departing 27 June, 30 July, 17 September and 9 October 2016
