Silversea Cruises has unveiled its collection of Scuba Diving Expedition Voyages for 2016 and 2017, offering diving enthusiasts the chance to explore some of the world’s most remote destinations at top diving sites in the western Pacific and Indian oceans.
The 120-guest, all-suite Silver Discoverer will feature 20 voyages offering fully complimentary scuba diving opportunities for experienced divers in regions such as the Maldives, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, the Palau Archipelago and the Andaman Islands.
In addition to an onboard dive master, the itineraries will feature a team of experts, including marine biologists, environmentalists, ecologists and geologists, who will share with guests their knowledge of the regions visited.
Upcoming Scuba Diving Expedition Voyages on board Silver Discoverer include:
–Australia (Great Barrier Reef) & Indonesia, 14 days from 4 October 2016;
–Myanmar & Andaman Islands, 15 days from 2 December 2016;
–Maldives, Seychelles (*Aldabra) & Africa, 15 days from 17 December 2016;
–Indonesia & Palau Archipelago, 14 days from 26 May 2017;
–Australia (Great Barrier Reef) & Indonesia, 14 days from 9 November 2017;
Guests will need an Advanced Open Water Diver license or equivalent to participate and must bring their own BCD vests and regulators.
Silversea will provide weight belts, tanks, masks and fins free of charge on board Silver Discoverer.
