By Cruise International | 21 May 2018

Voting has opened for the shortlist of the prestigious British Cruise Awards 2018, with several new categories this year.

Liz Jarvis, Editor of Cruise International magazine, said: “Cruise holidays are the best way to see the world, and the British Cruise Awards 2018 celebrate the astonishing range of experiences the cruise industry has to offer, from destination to on board.

“I’m delighted that this year we’re introducing exciting new categories which further reflect the diverse appeal of cruises.”

As well as categories for Best New Ship, Best Cruise Line and Best for Culinary Experience, this year’s shortlist includes Best for LGBT Cruisers, Best for Solo Travellers and Best for Cultural Immersion.

Saga Cruises are the headline sponsor for this year’s awards, which are also supported by Silversea, Titan, Marella Cruises, and the Cruise Lines International Association.

Now in their eighth year, the British Cruise Awards 2018 are the only awards dedicated to the British cruise industry that are voted for entirely by the public.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the House of Lords in October.

Everyone who votes in the British Cruise Awards 2018 will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a luxury hotel stay at Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, with return flights provided by Virgin Holidays. To vote, click here.
