The next cruise ship to join the fleet will be named Carnival Vista, and the 4,000-passenger ship will be the 25th ship to join Carnival Cruise Lines.
Speaking at the celebrations for Carnival Sunshine, Chief Marketing Officer Jim Berra told Cruise International: “The new ship will take on the elements of the Fun Ship 2.0 and build upon this. It will have many similar features to Carnival Breeze, but also some great innovations.”
Carnival Vista is going to be the touchstone for design, and will be inspired by views of the ocean.
There will be a focus upon new dining experiences and kids’ entertainment, building upon the already popular Camp Carnival for ages two to 11, and Circle “C” and Club O2 both for teens aged 12-14.
There will be more announcements about features on board over the coming months.
