Famous chef Todd English will joins Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 on 1 July 2014 for its Independence Day celebration voyage from New York to Boston.
While on board English will develop a new menu with the flagship’s culinary team which will be available later this summer.
He will also sign copies of his cookbook, Cooking in Everyday English: The ABCs of Great Flavor at Home, and participate in a Q&A with the Entertainment Director.
Angus Struthers, Cunard Director, says: “We are delighted to welcome our long-time partner and friend, Todd English, aboard Queen Mary 2 in July. Our flagship has the distinct honour of featuring the only Todd English restaurant at sea. We look forward to having him on board to continue celebrating the ship’s 10th anniversary.”
One of the most respected chefs in the world, Todd English has enjoyed a number of accolades during his remarkable career. He has been recognised by several of the food industry’s most prestigious publications, established one of the best-known restaurant brands in America – Olives – and is a four-time James Beard Award winner.
In addition, English has four critically-acclaimed cookbooks, including the October 2011 release, Cooking in Everyday English.
