Luxury holiday company ITC is including cruises in its Pure Platinum Brochure for the first time in three years.
The 2011 brochure includes new itineraries from the world’s most exclusive and luxurious cruise companies. The four cruise lines are Silversea, Yachts of Seabourn, Sea Dream Yacht Club and Cunard.
New itineraries include a cruise to Barbados on Silversea’s Silver Whisper. Smaller than mass-market vessels, spacious inside and with the atmosphere of a private yacht, the ship leaves Bridgetown for New York on 7 May 2011 and stops at Dominica, Antigua and Bermuda.
Also new to the 338 page brochure is French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant offering a seven day European cruise on board exclusive yacht Le Levant. With a capacity for only 90 guests, it cruises from Nice on 27 April 2011 to Venice, with stops at Naples and Croatia.
Jennifer Atkinson, CEO of ITC Classics told cruise-international.com:
“Here at ITC Classics we pride ourselves on keeping our finger firmly on the pulse of travel trends. When developing our new Platinum Collection Brochure we listened to our clients, sending questionnaires to our regular guests to gauge their feedback and the type of holiday that they are after. Through all our research it is evident that there is an increase in the demand for upmarket cruising holidays – cruising is currently seeing a boom! We also noticed that there was a gap in the market for upmarket hand picked cruise holidays being offered by a luxury tour operator like ourselves.”
