Crystal Cruises is launching a family friendly programme on its Alaska summer cruises.

In a nod to the growing trend for multi-generational family bookings, Crystal have come up with an activity filled programme to keep kids and adults alike entertained.

In a special alliance with the Alaskan natural park service, an educational and fun “Junior Rangers” programme has been devised, to encourage learning through interactive projects and activity books.

Working with Alaskan park rangers, children and teens can eventually earn the right to call themselves junior park rangers, earning badges and certificates along the way.

In addition to the child friendly atmosphere, the line is offering two complimentary options:

  • Either a free upgrade to British Airways’ World Traveller Plus Cabin.
  • OR a complimentary 3 night, pre/post cruise package in San Francisco, with 5* Accommodation.

Nine 12 night San Francisco round trips are available, including Victoria, Vancouver, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway/Jaomes, Ketchican and either Hubbard or Glacier Bay.

Dates of departure are 9 and 21 May; 2,14, and 26 June; 8 and 20 July; 1 and 13 August.

Fly cruise prices start at £3,998pp.  Includes return economy flights, 12 nights, meals and soft drinks inclusive, port taxes and $500pp onboard credit.
