Queen Elizabeth, the newest ship from Cunard, made her maiden call at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay yesterday.

Ha Long Bay is a beautiful destination in the north of Vietnam. It is a stunning natural seascape made up of limestone pillars and islands. The 2,000 passenger ship, named by The Queen in 2010, made its way through the misty morning yesterday as part of its world tour.

The ship is half way through its annual Round World Voyage which left Southampton on 10 January and will continue on through Singapore, Sri Lanka, India and Dubai until it arrives back at Southampton on 9 May. The trip comprises of 118 nights and calls at 40 ports in 23 different countries.
