Disney’s new cruise itineraries for 2012 have just been unveiled, and – very excitingly for European cruisers – the family cruise line will be sailing from the Big Apple from May 2012, with 20 cruises available on Disney Magic.
These trips from New York will include 8-night cruises to the Bahamas, 5-night cruises up the New England coast into Canada, and 2-night weekend cruises so you can have just a sample of Disney Cruise Line.
The Bahamas cruises will include stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, Nassau in the Bahamas, and Port Canaveral in Florida. Each guest will receive a one-day Walt Disney World
Park Hopper ticket and roundtrip transportation from the ship to the resort, so you can have the complete Disney experience.
Rates from £773 pp for a standard inside stateroom.
Cruises up into Canada will call at the popular ports of Halifax in Nova Scotia, and Saint John in New Brunswick. Panoramic views, historical sites, and charming cafes and shops will be key attractions.
Rates from £445 pp for a standard inside stateroom.
The 2-night cruises offer a quick getaway to sea, perhaps to complement a shopping trip to New York City.
Rates from £230 pp for a standard inside stateroom.
Also new for 2012 will be 7-night cruises around the Western Caribbean, and 7-night cruises from Seattle up to Alaska. This will allow cruisers to combine the adventure and natural wonders of Alaska with the family-friendly ethos of Disney Cruise Line.
Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will continue to sail a number of itineraries in 2012 in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Disney Wonder will alsobe sailing the Mexican Riviera and Pacific Coast from the Port of Los Angeles, California.
