Luxury river cruise line Scenic Tours’ newest ‘space-ship’, Scenic Jasper, sets off on its inaugural sailing today from Amsterdam.
Built by Dutch river cruise shipyard, Den Breejen, the 135m ship is the 11th vessel in Scenic’s fleet, with three decks of suites and staterooms, including two full decks of balcony suites, complete with Scenic ‘sun lounge’.
Guests can choose from six on board dining options on the ‘ultra-all-inclusive’ ship: fine dining with entertainment in the Crystal Dining restaurant; relaxed dining in the River Café, Italian inspired Portobellos and the Riverview Terrace, or in-room dining with private butler service, plus an invitation-only speciality dining experience at Table La Rive, including paired local and international wines exclusively for Diamond Deck guests.
“We’ve taken what is already an exceptional design and added a few extra enhancements for our guests to enjoy,” said Chris Townson, Scenic Tours UK Managing Director.
These enhancements include a new Vitality Pool on the Sun Deck, and the largest Panorama Suites on Europe’s rivers, with the Royal Panorama Suite boasting an unparalleled 44m2of space, and the Royal Suite 33m2.
After it is officially named by its godmother, Kathy Lette at the naming ceremony in Vienna on April 10th, 2015, Scenic Jasper will sail the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.
