Holland America Line has just announced its winter 2023-24 Caribbean programme, with several tropical experiences on offer onboard its five ships
Holland America Line’s itineraries will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida between October 2023 and March 2024, ranging from seven to 16 days. Highlights include a day at the company’s award-winning private island, Half Moon Cay, included with every sailing.
One of more than 700 islands that comprise the Bahamas, Half Moon Cay has a distinctive crescent bay edged by a white-sand beach, combining the pristine beauty of a nature reserve with a selection of amenities and activities. Only 50 of Half Moon Cay’s 2,400 acres are developed for guests to explore, leaving the rest of the island largely untouched.
These Sunfarer voyages include a partial transit of the Panama Canal, as well as opportunities to visit the colourful city of Cartagena in Colombia and the verdant rainforests of Costa Rica. More unusual islands visited during the 2023-24 season also include Trinidad and Tobago and Mahogany Bay, Roatan.
Holland America Line’s Explorations Central is designed to deepen guests’ understanding of the places they visit via a series of indispensable travel resources and opportunities to engage with local insiders make exploring each port of call more vivid and meaningful.
