One of my friends has just booked a late summer cruise holiday – they’ll be cruising on the Baltic in the first week of September, the schools will have gone back so the ship won’t be too crowded, the weather will still be very pleasant, they’ll be able to eat some extraordinarily good food AND they’ll get to explore cities including St. Petersburg, Copenhagen and Helsinki. Sounds absolutely blissful, doesn’t it? I’m very tempted to book on the same cruise (although I’m not sure her husband would be too thrilled).
