Promotional feature: Luxurious Escapes with Oceania Cruises
Wherever you wish to sail, Oceania Cruises invites you to explore the world in sophisticated style and discover its award-winning cuisine.
Elegance, luxury and uncompromised quality are the hallmarks of the Oceania Cruises experience. Not only does the cruise line boast a fleet of six intimate and sumptuous ships, it also offers award-winning cuisine and sailings to an array of alluring destinations. And always evolving, there’s an array of new additions designed to enrich your time away.
The cruise line’s OceaniaNEXT initiative is in the midst of elevating every element of the guest experience. From thoughtfully crafted dining to a fleet of better-than-new ships, the sweeping enhancements are inspirational.
Following in the footsteps of Insignia, Sirena and Regatta, Riviera is the latest ship to be ‘re-inspired’. Every surface of every suite and stateroom is entirely new (the Owner’s Suites are adorned with new and exclusive Ralph Lauren furnishings) while the public spaces wow with their stylish updates. Most impressive of all is Baristas, Riviera’s coffee bar, serving premium coffees and hot drinks with sweeping ocean views.
Riviera’s sister ship Marina will undergo a similar re-design in May 2020 and a month later Nautica will conclude the fleet revamp.
A life of luxury
An entirely new era of wellness will have entered the fleet by early 2020 with The ‘Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center’. As well as its collection of holistic onboard spa treatments, available on each ship, it also offers a series of wellbeing encounters on shore, such as reflexology in Thailand, yoga in Chile and beekeeping in the Andalusian countryside.
Another original concept from Oceania Cruises is its new Dom Perignon Experience. Only available on board Riviera and Marina, the dinner pairs six palate piquing courses with a different Dom Perignon vintage.
Oceania Cruises calls at 450 ports across the world, and with its array of no-fly cruises on Marina in 2020, you can sail straight from Southampton to some of the most desired culinary and cultural destinations across the Mediterranean and the British Isles, without even having to get on a plane.
Further afield, Alaska is a must-cruise destination with its sublime scenery, Inuit culture and wonderful wildlife. Regatta will be completely immersing guests in the region, as well as spectacular stretches of Canadian coastline and cities such as Los Angeles and Seattle, throughout summer 2021.
Meanwhile, Sirena’s Exotic Collection for 2020/21 enables you to explore some harder to reach places, from the Holy Lands of Egypt, Israel and Turkey to the Arabian Peninsula, India, Myanmar and Indonesia.
Oceania Cruises’ new Go Local tours take travellers into the homes and businesses of local people so you can experience a new way of life beyond the usual tourist spots.
Tours include learning the intricacies of sheep farming in Mahon, Spain, shopping in a local market in Buenos Aires before enjoying a homecooked Argentine meal, and spending a day at sea with a crew of Portofino fisherman, watching them haul in the day’s catch and sampling it over dinner.
The next chapter
Joining Oceania Cruises’ re-inspired fleet in 2022 and 2025 respectively will be two next generation Allura Class ships. The new vessels will radiate all the warmth, popular design elements and signature amenities that guests of Oceania Cruises know and love while reaching new heights with their comfort, convenience and luxurious facilities.
It’s possible to tailor your cruise experience with OLife Choice. You can benefit from included airfare and Internet, plus either free shore excursions, free house beverages or onboard credit. Then there is OLife Ultimate, an offer which includes shore excursions, ship board credit and the house beverage package all included for free on select sailings.
These generous packages add yet another reason to travel with the cruise line. Whether destination immersion, culinary exploration or wellness encounters inspire your passion for travel, Oceania Cruises will win you over.
