MSC Cruises announced today that it has decided to suspend its calls in Turkish ports until further notice.
As a result, MSC Magnifica will no longer call at the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Izmir, and will instead be based out of Venice, Italy, and call at the Greek capital, Athens, and the island of Mykonos.
This decision was taken amid growing concerns by guests as a result of the recent tragic events in Istanbul.
MSC’s announcement follows a similar decision by Crystal Cruises earlier this week.
