Oceania Cruises’ R Class ships will complete their complete transformation this June following a $50m investment.

The Regatta, Insignia and Nautica ships will be revealed in inaugural sailings this summer. Insignia and Nautica will be refurbished in Marseille, France and Regatta in Vancouver, BC. During their dry docks, the ships are to be decked out with the latest décor with new upgrades.

The $50million investment is the largest in the cruise line’s history and will help bring the R Class ships to the same level as the newer ships in the fleet.

All staterooms, penthouses and suites will be elegantly restyled. The Pool Deck and Canyon Ranch Spa Club will be upgraded and the Sports Decks will feature new mini-golf courses, shuffleboard courts and a selection of deck games.

Insignia will also feature an Artist Loft on Deck 11.

Bernard Carter, Managing Director, UK & Europe Oceania Cruises, said:

“This exciting refurbishment project provides the opportunity to bring some of the best features of our newer `O’ Class ships, Marina and Riviera, to the smaller ships, to give our guests a consistent experience across the fleet”.
