“The sun can cause havoc on our hair. The hair tends to loose moisture and our colour fades faster. It is important to use a good quality intense moisture hair mask once a week to bring moisture back to the hair. To prevent the colour from fading fast use a stop fade shampoo and conditioner such as the Nicky Clarke Stop Fade Shampoo and Conditioner.

Frizz is a common complaint from clients, it’s down to managing and styling your hair, changes occur throughout the day in our hair depending on where we are and the relative humidity which determine the degree of frizz you will have. Help prevent by preparing with the correct products in the drying and styling process, use silicone based products they discourage moisture absorption into the hair shaft.

Try to control your hair physically, by this I mean don’t just let it all fall down your back and ultimately get blown all over the place. Drop a variation of a pony tail or side plait and hair up’s are great. Little knots are really cool and work well on the beach to keep your hair away from your face

A good foundation product is essential, work a mousse into the hair when you’re drying it in the preparation process. I would recommend Nicky Clarke Great Body Ultimate Mousse. This will really coat the cuticle and act as a protective film over the hair

Now that the sun is shining I would consider adding more highlights to your hair, also add in a Nicky Clarke intense conditioning treatment once a week. Wrap in a towel and leave on for 20 minutes. This will keep your hair looking shiny and silky for your holiday.”
