A new episode of Channel 5’s Cruising with Jane McDonald sees the singer and presenter sail around the Mediterranean with Oceania Cruises.
Bernard Carter, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Oceania Cruises, said: “We are delighted to have this fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible Oceania Cruises experience to a national TV audience.
“It was a pleasure to host Jane on board Marina, and we are thrilled she had such a great time, both on board and exploring ashore.”
The upcoming episode is the second of a new four-part series of the BAFTA award-winning TV show, and airs at 9pm on 6 December.
In the Italian capital Jane embarks on a vintage car tour of the city before joining the ship and sailing to hotspots Florence and Pisa.
The presenter then samples the millionaire lifestyle in Monaco’s Monte Carlo, visits La Boqueria food market in Barcelona and braves the heights of ‘King’s Passage’ in Malaga.
British guests can experience Marina for themselves in June and July 2020 when the ship sets sail on a number of round-trip itineraries to the Mediterranean and around the British Isles.
What’s more, the 1,250-guest ship will be fresh from a multi-million dollar renovation which forms part of the company’s OceaniaNEXT initiative.
Updates include an all-new coffee bar area and a new lounge on deck 14 with sweeping sea views. Plus, its 200 Concierge and 244 Veranda staterooms, and 124 Penthouse Suites will all have sumptuous new soft furnishings and carpets
The Southampton sailings are available in June and July 2020, and include a 10-day European Quest, calling at Honfleur, St Malo, Brest, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Biarritz and Bilbao.
Carter added: “Itineraries beginning and ending in Southampton are perennially popular with our British customers. Without the bother of flying, having to negotiate airports, or worrying about luggage limitations, a Southampton departure means your holiday starts sooner!”
Cruising With Jane McDonald: The Mediterranean Riviera airs on Channel 5 at 9pm on 6 December.
