Now that sailings have resumed, take a peek inside the ship to see what life is like onboard the MSC Grandiosa after lockdown.
Since MSC Grandiosa resumed sailing on the 16th August there has been a lot of interest in what life onboard the cruise ship is like. With the new health & safety protocols in place, MSC Cruises has shared a video to show exactly how they are being implemented.
MSC Grandiosa is currently doing seven night cruises with embarkations in the Italian ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo, plus a calling at Valletta, Malta. As it stands, British and Irish guests are not yet permitted to travel on MSC cruises.
The MSC Magnifica will also return to service from the 19th October with ten night cruises home porting in Genoa and calling in Livorno for Florence and Pisa, Messina in Sicily, Valletta in Malta, Piraeus for Athens, Katakolon for Olympia in Greece and Civitavecchia for Rome, before returning to Genoa.

Whilst British & Irish guests are currently unable to sail with MSC due to travel restrictions applied by the respective countries, MSC Cruises are ready to welcome British & Irish guests as soon as the FCO advice allows.
MSC have been working with CLIA and the rest of the cruise industry to ensure that when Brits are able to sail again that the timing is right and any return for British & Irish guests to our ships will be aligned with CLIA.
