Marco Pierre White, master pâtissier Eric Lanlard and wine expert Olly Smith are the stars of P&O Cruises’ Food Heroes experiences taking place in 2020.

The Food Heroes travel experiences will take place on select sailings, including on board Iona – the newest ship from P&O Cruises launching in May 2020.

Marco Pierre White’s Gala menus will be available in all four of Iona’s main restaurants, while Eric Lanlard’s hand-crafted pastries will be on offer in Vistas Café Bar.

Guests on board Iona will also be able to attend the pâtissier’s hosted Afternoon Tea in The Epicurean, with treats on offer such as bee pollen scones and pistachio petit choux.

This 7-night cruise to Norway departs from Southampton on 8 August 2020. Eric Lanlard will also be sailing on two Mediterranean itineraries in July and August respectively.

Marco Pierre White will host cooking masterclasses in the Cookery Club, as well as attend hosted dinners, on board Britannia during two of the ship’s 14-night Mediterranean cruises in August 2020.

The renowned chef will also be on board two seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailings, departing from Southampton on 25 July and 1 August respectively.

Those sailing on board Iona with Olly Smith will be able to take part in food and drink experiences, such as an exclusive Bergen brewery tour. This brand-new excursion will take place on the seven-night Norwegian Fjords cruise, departing on 5 September.

Olly will also host a one-to-one wine surgery at The Glass House on both Britannia and Azura in June and October respectively.
