Princess Cruises is set to feature on a Christmas special of The Real Housewives of Cheshire on ITV

Princess Cruises ship Royal Princess will be the setting for The Real Housewives of Cheshire: Christmas Cruising, a festive special set to air this December.

The new three-part series is due to be broadcast on ITVBe and on the ITV Hub from Monday, December 5, at 9pm.

The stars embarking on their first cruise together include Hanna Kinsella, Lauren Simon, Lystra Adams, Nicole Sealey, Rachely Lugo, Seema Malhotra and Sheena Lynch. In a surprise twist, guest ‘housewives’ Tanya Bardsley and Ester Dee are also due to return.

Eithne Williamson, vice-president of Princess Cruises for UK and Europe, said: “To have The Real Housewives of Cheshire onboard a Princess Cruises ship for their first-ever cruise together is extremely exciting.

“We cannot wait for viewers to see all the incredible moments the ‘housewives’ experienced as they sailed around the beautiful Mexican Riviera – from the extraordinary service they received onboard to the varied activities they enjoyed in each fabulous port.”

The programme will see them sailing from San Francisco to Mexico, calling en route at Cabo San Lucas, Loreto and Mazatlán.

It’s not the first time Royal Princess has attracted attention, having been christened by Her Royal Highness Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge – aka Kate Middleton – who was eight months pregnant with first child Prince George at the time.
