Princess Cruises has announced that Regal Princess will be named by the original cast of US TV show, The Love Boat at its christening on 5 November this year.

The cast will then serve as ‘godparents’ as the ship begins its maiden season of Caribbean cruising.
The Love Boat was a romantic comedy show from 1977-1987 that was mostly set on board Princess Cruises ships. It was one of the highest rated and longest running programmes on US television.
