Luxury expedition line Seabourn has put a new range of expedition cruises on sale for 2023-24
The journeys aboard purpose-built ships Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will include ‘Seabourn Moments’ such as scuba diving in Raja Ampat in Indonesia, or hiking through the Tierra del Fuego in Argentina.
Seabourn president Josh Leibowitz said: “It is our privilege to open up the world to those who desire adventurous experiences, and we’re excited to unveil another round of expedition itineraries that reach into the more remote corners of the world. Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit are setting a new bar for luxury expedition travel.”
Venture will operate 11 voyages of between 14 and 24 days, sailing from Japan in September 2023 for three months of cruising the South Pacific. It will then chart a course to New Zealand in December for a two-month stint in Antarctica, followed by more time in New Zealand and Australia to visit the Great Barrier Reef, among other highlights, finishing in Bali at the end of March 2024.
Sister vessel Seabourn Pursuit will offer 14 cruises ranging from 11 to 27 days starting in September 2023 with a trip through the Northwest Passage and sailings along the US West Coast, followed by Antarctica. In February 2024, it will cross from Argentina to Africa – stopping at the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Tristan da Cunha and the Ascension Islands before its arrival in Cape Verde – then journey to Europe, ending in London in April.
