Viking Cruises have announced two new ocean ships in addition to their inaugural ocean ship launch Viking Star.
Viking Sea and Viking Sky will launch in 2016. The two new ships will be built in the same design as Viking Star and will sail on the same itineraries in the Baltic, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean.
Neil Barclay, head of sales UK said: “Due to the outstanding success of our inaugural ship launch – Viking Star – Viking Cruises will launch two further ships in 2016: Viking Sky and Viking Sea. Our maiden season in 2015 is already nearly at capacity demonstrating the strength of the product and the loyalty our past passengers have in a Viking experience.”
In addition to the new Ocean ships fleet, they have also announced a new itinerary for their ocean cruises. Baltic Jewels & the Midnight Sun and Into the Midnight Sun will travel from Norway down to the historic port of Harwich.
