Constructed at the renowned Boizenburg Shipyard on the Elbe River in Germany, Viking Surkov, Viking Kirov and Viking Pakhomov were part of the 27-ship “302” series, designed to offer visitors the very best Russia cruise ship experience. Viking Surkov was built in 1984 and was fully refurbished in 2008; Viking Kirov was built in 1987 and fully refurbished in 2009; Viking Pakhomov was built in 1990 and is being fully refurbished for the 2011 season.
