The itinerary

Day 1 Budapest, Hungary

From Budapest airport you will travel to your ship where you can settle in and enjoy the views, or head out and explore this dynamic city.

Day 2 Budapest, Hungary

Included excursion: Panoramic Budapest. Take a guided city tour of both the ‘Buda’ and ‘Pest’ sides of the city and see the famous sights including the UNESCO-listed Castle District of Buda, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion with its incredible views.

Day 3 Vienna, Austria

Included excursion: Panoramic Vienna. Your included panoramic tour of imperial Vienna takes you along the elegant Ringstrasse past Hofburg Palace, St Stephen’s Cathedral and the beautiful State Opera House.

Day 4 Krems and Danube River, Austria

Included excursion: Göttweig Abbey. Enjoy an included excursion to Göttweig Benedictine Abbey, which dates back to the 11th century. Sail through Austria’s stunning UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley to the historic town of Krems.

Day 5 Passau, Germany

Included excursion: Passau Walking Tour. Stroll through Passau’s beautiful cobbled streets on your guided walking tour and admire the 18th-century New Bishop’s Residence and St Stephen’s Cathedral.

Day 6 Regensburg, Germany

Included excursion: Regensburg Walking Tour. Enjoy a walking tour through the medieval city of Regensburg. See the stunning St Peter’s Cathedral with its gleaming spires, the 13th-century Old Town Hall and Old Stone Bridge.

Day 7 Main-Danube Canal and Nuremberg, Germany

Included excursion: Nuremberg Through History. Cruise through the numerous locks of the ingenious Main-Danube Canal. Tour the medieval walled city of Nuremberg with its half-timbered houses, dramatic castle and the Palace of Justice, site of the 1946 Nuremberg Trials.

Day 8 Nuremberg, Germany

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Munich airport for your return flight to the UK.
